Redline corrections are part of almost every plant engineering project. Drawings are reviewed, changes marked and documents returned for revision. Yet this handover often creates friction: how do you turn a comment into a correctly implemented change quickly?

Feedback is often exchanged through PDFs and emails. This can lead to confusing document versions and time-consuming manual work, making it difficult to see which comments have already been addressed. The challenge lies in the disconnect between the review process and the engineering system.

Digital redlining closes this gap. A connected review process brings all the steps together:

Publish → Review → Comment → Synchronise → Revise → Update

Comments are captured directly in the model or drawing and passed back to the engineering team in a structured format. All project participants, whether internal or external, work with the same up-to-date information, without needing direct access to the CAD system.
